Mom

If my mom was still alive with me,

I would say " Happy Birthday May May, What will you cook today?"

and

I might even give her some presents.

Today, 20 May 2018 is her 78th birthday.

(I called her "May May" not "A May" nor "Mom" nor "Mommy", or "Mar Mar" (Some Burmese Chinese in Burma call their mother as "Mar Mar".) In Seik Phyu, my father Tin Aung's home town, in Magway Division, north-central Myanmar, on the Irrawaddy River, the other side across the Irrawaddy river is "Chauk City", people call their mother as" A Ma", Elder sister).

I don't remember what she called me.

It was either "Thar Thar", "Thar", "Maung Sann Aung", " Hey Kaung Lay" or "Wet Phyu", (White pig).

I really don't remember, I couldn't remember my past very well after I lost May May and our family life.

One thing that I remember about my past was when I went to Disney cartoon movie "Jungle Book" with my grandma or my aunts (with who? I don't really remember it again!) I cried without any noise and didn't want to continue to watch it. Cartoon movie made me so sad as the boy in the cartoon had no family and he enjoyed living with other animals until he met a girl.
